Suicide Pool

Each Friday, we will provide one sure bet for the upcoming weekend to get you ready for your suicide pool.

For those of you unfamiliar with how a suicide pool works, we’ll explain it here. You get to select one team each week of the season and once that team is used, it can never be used again. Point spreads do not matter. So if you used New England in week 1, that was it for the season. Things gets interesting as you move along because you are forced to choose from less than favorable match-ups and that why it takes a certain strategy to win a league. Our strategy is to identify great sleeper match-ups early on and save the better teams for later in the season. Check back every Friday to get your suicide pool pick for the week.

Has anyone heard of SuicideFantasyFootball.com. I found the site and it seems like a really cool new way of playing fantasy football. You have to pick a new team each week, but can't use a player more than once all year. Shawn Barber is the spokesperson so it seemed credible but I figured I'd see if anyone else checked it out or knows of similar games that add a new twist to fantasy football?
